Division 06
Architectural Millwork Installation
Custom woodwork and architectural features installed with the precision the product demands — on schedule, on budget, punch-list clean.
The install is where the millwork earns its price tag.
Architectural millwork is the most visible finish work on a commercial project. When it's installed well, it elevates the entire space. When it's installed poorly — gaps, out-of-plumb panels, mismatched reveals — it reflects on everyone in the chain: the manufacturer, the GC, and the owner.
6:12 Installs was built specifically for this scope. Our crews understand wood movement, substrate conditions, and the tolerance requirements that separate a clean install from a punch-list nightmare. We read shop drawings, coordinate with the GC and other trades, and protect the material from delivery through final inspection.
We work directly with millwork manufacturers, woodwork dealers, and general contractors across the Southeast — on new construction, renovation, and tenant improvement projects in education, hospitality, healthcare, corporate, and institutional markets.

Why manufacturers and GCs choose 6:12
Shop drawing literacy
We read and mark up shop drawings before the truck rolls. Conflicts get resolved in the office, not on the job site.
Material protection
Millwork is expensive and fragile. We stage, acclimate, and handle product with the care it requires from receiving through installation.
Substrate coordination
We verify blocking, backing, and substrate conditions before installation begins — not after the first panel goes up.
Punch-list discipline
Our standard is zero punch items at turnover. When issues arise, we own them and resolve them without being chased.
