Countertops & Work Surfaces
Phenolic resin, epoxy, solid surface, laminate, stainless steel, and stone — installed to spec in commercial, laboratory, healthcare, and institutional environments.
Precision installation for every surface specification.
Work surfaces are where function meets finish. A countertop that looks right but isn't level, properly supported, or correctly sealed creates problems that outlast the warranty. 6:12 Installs treats every surface installation as a precision scope — reading the spec, coordinating with the casework and plumbing trades, and delivering a finished product that performs as designed.
We install the full range of commercial and institutional work surface materials: plastic laminate post-form and self-edge, solid surface with integrated sinks and coved backsplashes, phenolic resin for laboratory and healthcare environments, epoxy resin for chemical-resistant lab applications, stainless steel for food service and cleanroom settings, and natural stone and engineered quartz for hospitality and corporate interiors.
Our crews handle field measurement, template work, seam placement, equipment cutouts, backsplash installation, and final fit-out coordination. We work directly from the manufacturer's shop drawings and coordinate with the GC and MEP trades to ensure cutouts, penetrations, and support blocking are in place before the surface arrives on site.
Whether you're outfitting a university research lab with chemical-resistant epoxy islands, a healthcare clinic with solid surface nurse stations, or a corporate office with stone reception counters, 6:12 Installs brings the same field discipline to every surface scope. We protect the material in transit, stage it properly, and install it to the tolerances the product demands.

Why 6:12
Material knowledge
We know how each surface material behaves in the field — expansion tolerances for solid surface, support requirements for stone, chemical compatibility for epoxy. That knowledge prevents callbacks.
Trade coordination
Countertop installation sits at the intersection of casework, plumbing, and electrical. We coordinate cutout locations and support blocking before the surface arrives so nothing has to be reworked.
Spec compliance
We install from the manufacturer's shop drawings and the project spec — not from habit. If the spec calls for a specific seam location, adhesive, or sealant, that's what we use.
Southeast coverage
Our crews are based in the Southeast and travel regionally for commercial, institutional, and laboratory projects. We're available for both new construction and renovation scopes.
